TERPAAN KONTEN DAN KREDIBILITAS AKUN : STRATEGI MEMBANGUN PENGARUH PADA AKUN INSTAGRAM @mudik_id TERHADAP PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN INFORMASI ARUS MUDIK LEBARAN BAGI FOLLOWERS

Instagram is a social media that many people are interested in getting information and entertainment. The Instagram visualization is attractive and the information conveyed is trustworthy. This research aims to determine the influence of exposure to content and the credibility of the @mudik_id Instagram account on fulfilling the information needs of the Idul Fitri homecoming flow for followers of the Gen Z group. This research method is quantitative with static analysis and uses a positivism paradigm. The population was taken by purposive sampling, namely followers of the Instagram account @mudik_id. The sample consisted of 400 respondents who were distributed widely to followers of the Instagram account @mudik_id. The research results show that based on the T test and F test, the exposure variable and credibility of the @mudik_id Instagram account simultaneously and partially have a positive and significant effect on fulfilling the information needs of the Idul Fitri homecoming flow for followers, especially Gen Z. Instagram provides information with attractive and easy to understand visualizations, and the information can be accounted for, making Instagram a source of public information in Indonesia.
