Abstract

This study aimed to test the effect of mentor social support on online academic achievement of TOEFL School students. The data collection measure in this study used questionnaires, both academic achievement scale and mentor social support scale. The respondents in this study were 84 students who received different TOEFL scores. Then the researchers fall into three categories, namely, good, good, and bad. The characteristics of respondents were students who attended TOEFL School for the last seven months and obtained TOEFL scores regardless of their results. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study suggest that the impact of social support of mentors on academic achievement of online-based TOEFL students is significant 7 %.
