Abstract

Raditya Dika's Podcast as one of the viral podcasts After starting his appearance in the entertainment world through his written works, Raditya Dika then became a color member of the Indonesian comedy world as comics. Raditya Dika's pleasure in sharing his thoughts is now shown in the form of a podcast. Raditya Dika created a podcast called PORD (Podcast Raditya Dika). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the motive for listening to Raditya Dika's podcast on spotify on audience satisfaction among AKMRTV Jakarta students. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research method with the Uses and Gratification approach which sees how audiences use mass media in accordance with what is needed. This research was conducted by using an online questionnaire to AKMRTV Jakarta students who had listened to Raditya Dika's podcast. Respondents in this study were as many as 120 people and were determined based on simple random sampling. Data collection was obtained through a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the motive of listening to Raditya Dika's podcast on spotify has an effect on listener satisfaction of AKMRTV Jakarta students. Evidenced by the value of the regression coefficient in this study is Y = 7.208 + 0.798X. The constant number is 7.208 and the variable coefficient of the influence value of Instagram is 0.798. Meanwhile, t count 15.236 is greater than t table of 17.93, with a significance level of 0.000 smaller than α = 0.05. Based on the table "Model Summary" shows that the value of R = 0.814 and the coefficient of determination (Rsquare) is 0.663. This figure shows the understanding that the contribution of the influence of the variable. The effect of the motive for listening to radio podcasts on spotify on listener satisfaction of AKMRTV Jakarta students is 81.4%. This means that the correlation relationship is "very strong".
