Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the influence of social media instagram @ pinterpolitik to the needs political information generation z. The theory used a theory uses and gratification. Research methodology used is the method quantitative by doing technique share the questionnaire to survey respondents. Technique data analysis on this research, using analysis linear regression simple. Respondents in this research was followers instagram @ pinterpolitik to the whole the sample of the calculated using formulas taro yamane obtained the 100 respondents. Variables that were used to research this is social media and needs information. The result of research showed that social media instagram @ pinterpolitik having influence of 56.3 % of meeting the needs of political information generation z.
