PENGARUH AKUN INSTAGRAM @DEARCATCALLERS.ID TERHADAP TINGKAT PEMAHAMAN FOLLOWERS MENGENAI PELECEHAN SEKSUAL

The level of crime that is rife in Indonesia is sexual harassment, the lack of education about sex education that makes a reference for the high level of crime of sexual harassment. Instagram social media can be one of the platforms that functions to get various information, one of which is education information about sexual harassment. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence of the Instagram account @dearcatcaller.id on the level of understanding of followers about sexual harassment. This study uses the theory of stimulus-organism-response (Effendy, 2003) and New Media's theory (Pierre Levy, 1990). The method used in this study is quantitative (survey) by spreading online and offline questionnaires to 400 respondents. From this study the results of the coefficient of determination were 0.779 which means that there was a strong influence between the Instagram account @dearcatcaller.id with the level of understanding of followers of sexual harassment. The results of the hypothesis test state that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Instagram account @dearcatcaller.id on the level of understanding.
