PENGARUH PERSEPSI DAN TERPAAN PADA TAGAR #2019GANTIPRESIDEN TERHADAP PARTISIPASI POLITIK PEMILIH PEMULA MAHASISWA AKMRTV JAKARTA

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of perception and exposure to hashtag #2019GantiPresiden on the political participation of novice voters AKMRTV Jakarta students. This study uses the uses and gratifications theory. The method used by the writer in this research is quantitative method. The population contained in this study were 390 AKMRTV Jakarta students. The sample used in this study using an error of 5% to 198 and this study used a sample of 198 people who will be respondents. For the sampling technique the author uses the t count technique with the Slovin formula. Based on the discussion that has been described, the author can draw the conclusion that perception and exposure have an influence on political participation of novice voters. The relationship between the three variables is stated to be included in a very strong category relationship, this is evidenced by hypothesis testing using the T test that H1 and H2 are accepted which means there is an influence between perception and exposure to political participation. The calculation of the coefficient of determination test with the number R Square is 0.521% or equal to 52.1%. So the perception and exposure have an influence on the political participation of beginner voters of Jakarta AKMRTV students.
