Abstract

The device with all it’s practical functions has a huge impact on it’s users. Device is very important for human life to communicate, increase relationships, add insight, knowledge, education and business. Children are individuals who are very quick to absorb what is seen, especially early childhood. Children who play devices continuously will easily lose patience. This will adversely affect its development. This study aim to determine the attribution of communication between parents and teachers in preventing the negative impact of devices on children. This study uses qualitative research methods with constructivist research paradigms to gain a deep understanding of a problem. The results showed that communication between parents and teachers who are well established, is considered able to minimize the negative impact of the device on early childhood. Parents who actively report the child's development at home to the teacher, can help the teacher's work at school to educate children. Parents' motivation with the teacher to establish communication is for the child's development. The existence of motivation in parents communication with the teacher influences the achievement of the goal of preventing the negative impact of the device. However, parents and teachers still do not realize the importance of each other's role, they assume that the role of one of them is more important. Prevention is carried out in the form of consultation, understanding, warnings given by both parents and teachers.
