MANAJEMEN PUBLIKASI HUMAS PEMERINTAH KOTA BOGOR MELALUI MEDIA ONLINE DALAM MENDUKUNG PROGRAM BOGOR SMART CITY

Information and Communication Technology developing so fast. Technological advances make the swift flow of information through the media that can cause various impacts for people’s lives. In addition, modern people’s has high expectation of the city. Such as a comfortable living and working environment, adequate public areas, a more efficient and integrated transportation system, and other facilities. Then, the concept of smart city emerged. The strategy in supporting the smart City program in the city of Bogor through publications using a four-step perspective of the PR process (fact finding, planning, Implementation, evaluation) and organizational information theory this research uses methods Qualitative descriptive by involving public relations of the Bogor city government as the informant and the community of Bogor.The results showed that the public relations of the city of Bogor utilize online media websites, social media such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube, as well as make use of offline media such as printed newspaper media in its publication. Content is made as interesting as possible, then publications are done by utilizing hashtags, design, using easy-to-understand language, inserting photos and videos. In the publication conducted by public relations of Bogor city about Smart City received a positive response from People’s of Bogor City.
