Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of content variables and video service application feature variables on demand, namely Viu on the interest of watching on users. The theory used in this research is new media and uses and gratification. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with accidental sampling technique in getting respondents who meet the criteria that are aged 19-34 years and using the Viu application. The paradigm used is positivistic paradigm. The results of this study are the X1 variable that is content and X2 variable that is the feature has a positive influence on the Y variable that is the interest in watching the Viu application by 50.4%. The content and features of the Viu application have a strong relationship with watching interest. This shows that the Viu application is able to provide the best content and features for new media audiences so that interest in watching can be seen through the Viu application.
